Vaccinations for disease prevention are included in every wellness plan. While tailored to your new kitten’s specific needs, vaccines may include the following:
FVRCP Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia: given as a series, every four weeks beginning from 8 weeks of age until the kitten is 16 weeks old, and given a booster annually.
Rabies: given at 4 months of age or older and one year later. Boosters are then given every 2 years.
Feline Leukemia: recommended for all kittens and any adult cat that goes outdoors. Kittens are given two vaccinations, four weeks apart beginning at 12 weeks of age.
